Try Vegan PDX is a vegan outreach group in Portland, Oregon. Our goal is to help people who have made the decision to go vegan by offering resources, support and community-building activities.

Whether you have only recently come to the decision to live a cruelty-free life or have been vegan for many years, Try Vegan PDX needs your support. Please tell your friends and get involved!

Registration opens June 1st!

Join your fellow veg-head adventurers in taking on vegan Portland. In this race, teams of 2-4 people will work to get a few lines or a blackout on a BINGO card - going to destinations, and completing challenges, based on what the BINGO squares say. Besides having a great time, you are sure to discover some great new spots in Portland. This year's race will be in the St. Johns area of Portland.

Costumes encouraged but not required. $10 per person in advance, $15 the day of.
8th Annual Try Vegan Week
August 15 - 22


Try Vegan Week (TVW) is an annual event that is the foundation of Try Vegan PDX. This week long series of events is where Try Vegan PDX began. The week includes workshops, speakers, dine-outs, and mentoring. There will be events for vegans, and the vegan curious (vegetarians and omnivores). Invite your friends!

The week concludes with a Vegan Prom, that will include music, photos, costumes, and community.

*All events are free to attend with the exception of Prom which is Try Vegan PDX's biggest annual fundraiser (though there are opportunities for those with lack of funds.*
8th Annual Vegan Prom
August 22 - 23 (9:00 PM - 2:00 AM)


Come celebrate the end of the 8th annual Try Vegan Week for a night of dancing, raffles, food, and fun! Costumes or dress in theme encouraged, but not required. There will be a raffle with the awesome prizes you’ve come to expect from Try Vegan PDX events, and of course an awesome photo prop! Vegan Prom is always a good time!

Prom tickets are $10 advance, or $15 at the door. Tickets will go on sale in early August
