Ugly Holiday Sweater Bar Crawl
December 16 - 17 (7:00 PM - 2:00 AM)
Join the Try Vegan PDX committee on a holiday bar crawl in one of Portland's awesome areas. We will meet at 7pm to grab a bite and then will hit a handful of bars in the North Portland area (Albina, Vancouver etc). The map will be posted in early December. This will also be an outreach event where we will be hanging pro-vegan posters on telephone posts, bulletin boards, and sticking them in newspapers. We will provide all of the material for this part of the event. Now, get going on finding the perfectly hideous outfit for the crawl!
Vegan in the New Year
January 7 (2:00 - 4:00 PM)
Do you know someone who has been thinking about trying to live a vegan lifestyle, or may be new to the diet and wants to learn more? Perhaps you are that person? We invite you to one of our annual events, Vegan in the New Year. At this year's event we will have a short social time, participate in a cooking demo given by Linda Tyler of Gracious Vegan, and support each other with some of the challenges or questions that often come up as a transitioning to vegan, new to vegan, or vegan veteran. We look forward to seeing you on January 7th!

Vegan Guide

You can now get our Vegan Guide to Portland at local stores such as Mirador Community Store in Portland. We also have copies at each of our events. The guide includes some of the best places to eat and shop here in Portland, as well as interviews with local business owners, articles on vegan fitness, a vegan parenting section, recipes, and more!
