Papa G's Vegan Deli - one year anniversary party!

“Papa G’s One Year Anniversary and Earth Day Celebration takes place Saturday, April 18, 2009 at the deli, located at 2314 SE Division St. in Portland. Beginning at 11am with free samples of food, menu specials, t-shirt and gift certificate giveaways, the celebration lasts into late evening with a concert by the Jim Boyer Band (details below).
What better way to celebrate Earth Day then by sampling the new sandwich menu at Papa G’s Vegan Organic Deli— a business that’s so sustainable they don’t even have a trash can, just composting and recycling bins. The new vegan sandwich menu includes meetball subs, BBQ tofu sandwiches, housemade tempeh ruebens, hot dogs, chili dogs, Daily Grind tostadas, tacos, and burritos. Covered outdoor seating available.
At 9:30pm the Jimmy Boyer Band, featuring Dave Reisch (of Holy Modal Rounder fame) will play a special 21and over show, with a $4 cover (alcohol available). There will be a special opening act, Petoskey, along with balloon artist and entertainer extraordinaire, Joe Mishkin. ”
